Promise, I’m not Lonely

So I started this dating site……. lol, yes, I know; when one reaches middle-age,  dating becomes not only difficult, but a chore.  I tried to be nice and honest on my profile-which no one seems to read.  I get many older men wanting to meet me, but…ugh.  The other day, I was even nice enough to chat with one guy.  I had mentioned that I was exhausted from long long days at work and this man had the bold audacity to tell me that it was because I “wasn’t getting none”!  the hazards of trying to meet people and date.

It seems that some people cannot process the difference between being alone and  being lonely.  I live physically alone, but am never lonely.  I believe it’s about attitude, perception, confidence, self-esteem.  I frequently look around my house and smile, thanking God for such a blessing.  I have a pretty nice little house, in a safe neighborhood.  I’ve family who loves me, a great job, friends, and I serve an amazing Lord and Savior.  So adding a partner to the mix is simply to have someone with whom I can enjoy my blessings.  May you have a fabulous day and week

As far as the dating site goes, well, I won’t give up so easily.  I’m sure a nice, attractive, and caring man will show up just for me.  I still won’t be lonely, but I won’t be alone either— hm, I may have to schedule that in….

I am a Hispanic single woman, born and raised in the military lifestyle. Went on to become a veteran and an Army spouse. Throughout my life I have struggled with relationships, to include the most important, the one with my Father, God. I am currently working as a high school counselor, but am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and studying to take the Addictions Counselor exam for my LCDC. I want to help, encourage, and maybe through my many mistakes, help others, men and women.
