The Planks In Our Eyes.

The Planks In Our Eyes..

I read this post from J.S. Park, and I swear that the words spoke of my own experience with my ex-boyfriend and his alcoholism.  I tried and tried……for 5 years to get him to see he needed to change!  I tried, and I prayed!

Eventually, I ended up having to leave the relationship, and it pains me to this day.

I believe God has someone in mind for me, hopefully I notice him when he crosses my path.  Perhaps, if I took the plank out of my eyes, I would notice how utterly awful I am as well.

thank you, Mr. Park, for reminding me….

I am a Hispanic single woman, born and raised in the military lifestyle. Went on to become a veteran and an Army spouse. Throughout my life I have struggled with relationships, to include the most important, the one with my Father, God. I am currently working as a high school counselor, but am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and studying to take the Addictions Counselor exam for my LCDC. I want to help, encourage, and maybe through my many mistakes, help others, men and women.
